How Hypnotherapy Helps
According to the Mayo Clinic – Hypnosis is a changed state of awareness and increased relaxation that allows for improved focus and concentration.Hypnosis can help you gain control over behaviors you’d like to change. It may help you cope better with anxiety or pain. Although you’re more open to suggestion during hypnosis, you don’t lose control over your behavior during a hypnosis session.
What is Hypnotherapy
A Natural State of Being – Qualified health care professionals use hypnosis to explore and address a wide variety of health and well-being matters. Hypnosis is a natural state, very much like when we’re daydreaming or driving down the highway and not paying attention to the signs for a while. It is a trance-like state which occurs throughout the course of a day. In hypnosis, you are focused and aware of your environment. People describe hypnosis as a pleasant, calming, clearly remembered experience which involves a state of relaxed consciousness.
What is RTT® (Rapid Transformational Therapy)?
Rapid Transformational Therapy is a hybrid therapy combining the most beneficial principles of Hypnotherapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Psychotherapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Regression Therapy. RTT has been developed and fine-tuned for 30 years by internationally acclaimed Hypnotherapist Marisa Peer.

How Hypnosis Works
The biggest difference between classical psychotherapy and RTT® therapy is in the fact, that classical psychotherapy works with consciousness mind where are our thinking and logical, analytical mind, while RTT® therapy has access to subconsciousness mind where are based our beliefs, thoughts, fears, behaviours, values, instincts, emotions, trauma and resistance to change. To have more clear idea, take a look at the picture on left where you see our mind depicted as an iceberg with 2 parts: the visible, the consciousness and the invisible subconscious.
As result of RTT® therapy, the client receives answers from subconscious mind which might not be available by thought analytical process in consciousness mind alone. Access to subconsciousness mind ensures that understanding and healing process takes much less time and is very goal oriented. Depends on each issue and case, the average amount of RTT® therapy session varies from 1-3 to fix the issue of the client.

Yes, hypnosis and in particular RTT has worked and continues to work for thousands of people. It’s simple, effective and fast.
The step-by-step approach in RTT allows you to understand the reason and root cause of any issue you struggle with. Understanding is power, and understanding in hypnosis is the most phenomenal, transforming, liberating power.

Understanding is key. Once you understood why, when and how you experienced that issue, it will never return. After the session, you receive a personalised recording and it is important that you listen to it for a minimum of 21 days. Change takes time and during that time, your brain will rewire and cement the new habit or belief needed for moving on and exploring freedom and joy in the areas you worked on.
The most common ways to feel the change caused by RTT is:
- Immediate: You feel a massive shift right away – immediate changes in your physiology, thoughts and behaviours right in the session.
- Incremental: You see consistent shifts every day, or over time.
- Retroactive: You don’t notice the shifts right away and then one day you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in your life.
No, you in complete control and are awake and aware of everything that is happening throughout the session and cannot be made do or say anything against your will. I’m present to guide you through the process safely in complete comfort.
Memories that arise in regression are an invaluable way to discover the source of any issue. You will not re-experience anything (physical pain for example), but will simply revisit and observe events or experiences from the past. What you see may bring up some old emotions, but you will feel completely safe to let them go as you observe them.
Hypnosis is a natural state of mind and is an important part of everyday life. Whenever our mind wanders, daydreams or is focused on something (e.g. reading a book, driving a familiar route, watching a film, meditating etc.), you are in a state of hypnosis.
